If you find yourself getting stiff or just concerned about the number of hours you sit at a computer, think about looking at advice from a few sources as well as trying software. The software I am testing out is
MacBreakZ Macintosh software (by the same company,
Ergonomix is available for Windows). It reminds you it's time to take a break and provides exercises on a timed schedule that you can preset.
Here are a few sources of information online that I have found especially helpful:
- Ergoblog, a blog that provides lots of great information about office ergonomics and how to deal with repetitive strain injuries.
- Office Space Ergonomics, an online slide show provided by the Mayo Clinic.
